Miyowa launches mobile Instant Messaging onto the Android platform.

 - Miyowa, the leader in end-to-end mobile messaging solutions, announced the successful porting and launch of its MoveMessenger™ mobile Instant Messaging technology onto the Android™ opensource platform for Smartphones and PDAs. The first MoveMessenger IM-Android enabled mobile phone - delivered with Windows Live™ Messenger - will be the Samsung Galaxy i7500, commercialized in France this week at Bouygues Telecom.

With fast time-to-market technology, the Miyowa's MoveMessenger IM technology has already been ported onto 1500 handsets over the past 20 months. Miyowa provides 26 mobile operators worldwide with its mobile messaging solutions.

Miyowa will soon support the Android platform-based versions of HTC, LG, and Motorola handset brands. Today, Miyowa delivers its solutions on the widest portfolio of handsets, on all the major platforms: Android, Brew, Java, Symbian, Blackberry and Windows Mobile.

In addition to MoveMessenger (its Mobile Instant Messaging and email solution), Miyowa also announces that they will adapt InTouch 5™ (its mobile Rich Address Book and social Dashboard solution) for the Android OS platform in the coming weeks.
